Day trip: the big things of Alberta

Following a little free time project earlier this year in which I started plotting a place marker map of all of Canada's 'big things' (strange and unusual roadside attractions) using Google Earth for bigthings.ca, it seemed only sensible that while I was in Edmonton I should take a day out of the city for a mini road trip, to see just a few of Alberta's big things.
